The Barn Crew

I grew up in a small community on a family farm, which accommodated breeding horses and dogs. Add in a variety of cats, chickens, sheep and the occasional goat. This atmosphere led me to be very actively involved for over a decade with club, county, state and national 4-H programs. What my mom always said is true, responsibility and discipline are fostered working and caring for animal – but the biggest reward is what they do to your heart and well-being.

I have continued to breed field trial Labradors for the past ten years. The breeding lines are strong on conformation, temperament and trainability.

After twenty-three years in the newspaper industry my opportunity to have a second career combining my business experience with what I have always coveted, my love of working with animals has become a reality, opening “The Dog Barn“.

Here your animal family members will be cared for with experience and devotion. You will always find me available, concerned and understanding to your specific pets needs. I know, just like people, no two animals are alike.
